Present Simple — Negative
Step 1 — You already know the affirmative
Na aula anterior você aprendeu a forma afirmativa:
  → I work every day.  ·  She works late.  ·  They go to the office.

Agora vamos aprender como dizer que algo não acontece — a forma negativa.
Step 2 — How to make it negative

Para negar, adicionamos don't ou doesn't antes do verbo. O verbo volta para a forma base — sem -S.

He / She / It She works late. → She doesn't work late.

Step 3 — The rule

I / You / We / They

don't + verb (base form)
I don't work on weekends. We don't go to the office on Fridays. They don't use that software.

He / She / It

doesn't + verb (base form)
She doesn't work late. He doesn't have an office. My boss doesn't go to every meeting.
Atenção: Com doesn't, o verbo volta para a forma base — sem -S!
Errado: She doesn't works.    Correto: She doesn't work.

Present Simple — Interrogative
Para fazer perguntas no Present Simple, usamos Do (para I, you, we, they) e Does (para he, she, it) antes do sujeito.

O verbo sempre fica na forma base — sem -S, sem -ES!

Wh- word + do/does + subject + verb?
